Practice Facilities

We work with some of the games’ best PGA and LPGA TOUR short-game coaches including Gareth Raflewski and Dave Pelz to design and build practice facilities with performance in mind. Himalayas Golf practice facilities allow golfers to develop the most important short-game skills, practice with purpose, track their score, play better golf, and have fun.

All Himalayas Golf practice facilities have a scorecard system so that golfers can measure their performance and watch themselves improve. Our facilities are geared towards ensuring golfers get better at their short game.

Shotstopper Greens

ShotStopper™ is a premier underlay system, created by Dave Pelz, installed below an artificial turf putting green that guarantees shots hit onto the green from any distance will bounce and roll like they would on a grass green. The ShotStopper™ underlay system also ensures that the ball will roll consistently and true.

  • ShotStopper™ is the premier and industry-leading underlay system installed underneath artificial putting turf which makes Himalayas golf greens the most realistic performing on the market. ShotStopper™ is used on greens custom-built for major winners such as Phil Mickelson and Tom Watson and others.

Practice Modules

Himalayas Golf practice modules, created by our PGA/LPGA coaching partners, are unique training systems designed to help golfers hit better shots and make more putts. These modules are used by golf professionals to improve their game and can be installed as stand-alone systems or incorporated into a chipping or putting green.

  • The Wedge Target Range is a stepped-in-size set of targets that can be built in 10 or 20-yard increments from 10 to 100 yards which are statistically the most important yardages in golf. The target size is dictated by the average proximity of a PGA or LPGA Tour-level golfer at those distances.

  • Putting Pads are 15’ x 15’ artificial turf systems constructed at slopes varying from 1% to 4% with one or more cup locations. On the putting pads, golfers can practice every putt within 10ft of the pin which accounts for nearly 70% of the putts in golf.

  • Designed and built to be perfectly flat and level, with lengths starting from 50 feet and up, this module is designed to teach the golfer how to master their putting distance control.
